ROLL OF HONOUR

The success of the Young Achiever Awards is down to the nominating organisations, without whose help and support we would be unable to recognise and showcase the achievements of young volunteers.

We would like to thank the following organisations for their continued help and support in providing money-can't-buy opportunities and raising the profile of the Young Achievers Awards.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is committed to providing for 14-25 year olds an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development.  It helps instil citizenship qualities within young people such as self-belief, perseverance and leadership skills.  The Award is not exclusive and welcomes young people from all backgrounds.  Since it began in 1956, over 3 million young people have entered the programme and almost 3 million Awards have been achieved.  Each year Award Participants provide over 2 million hours of volunteering – with a value to society of £13.5million.
